If you don’t already have Pinterest, it is one of the very best social media sites for inspiration (or distractions) whether you’re looking for hairstyle ideas, outfit inspo or how to knit; Pinterest has it.
- Blogging, obviously.
Whether you want to blog about food, hair, bagels, anything goes. You can start a blog on Tumblr, WordPress (my personal choice), Wix.com, SquareSpace, Weebly etc. once you find your groove, blogging can be great fun and very therapeutic.
2. Journal keeping
You might keep a personal journal or a bullet journal, you can find some great ideas on Pinterest.
Whether you choose to write poetry, novels, manuscripts, plays, movie scripts etc. you could discover an underlining talent.
Scrapbooking can be so much fun. You can find some great ideas online, take a look at this blog post.
5. Planning and organising
Plan your week, organise your drawers, rearrange your bedroom. Organising parts of life can really help clear your mind.
6. Embroidery, knitting, sewing etc.
I personally feel as though certain crafts such as knitting are dying out, most females my nan’s age were taught to sew and knit and embroider in school. And I know it’s not everyone’s gig, but I wish I knew how! And I’m sure I’m not alone.
