June 14th

June 14th is jam-packed with 6 different meanings. World blood donor day, Flag day, Jerky day, Bourbon day, International bath day and Farmworkers day.

  1. World blood donor day.

According to the NHS blood donation site “We need over 6,000 blood donations every day to treat patients in need across England. Which is why there‚Äôs always a need for new people to give blood. Each year we need approximately 200,000 new donors, as some donors can no longer give blood.” Sign up here to give blood.
